DEEPLY INSPIRING 'HEAVEN IS FOR REAL' TRAILER WITH GREG KINNEAR AND KELLY REILLY! HUGH JACKMAN AS LATIN LOVER NEXT TO GEOFFREY RUSH IN 'THE DROWSY CHAPERONE' MUSICAL MOVIE! WILL SMITH IN 'THE CITY THAT SAILED'! SHEKHAR KAPUR HELMS FX 'RASPUTIN' MINI SERIES

THE DROWSY CHAPERONE
 HUGH JACKMAN & GEOFFREY RUSH
If you liked Hugh Jackman's Oscar nominated singing in LES MISERABLES you might hear Aussie's voice on film again: he is apparently in negotiations to take a role in the movie adaptation of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE musical which is a spoof of 1920's musicals ! If he accepts the gig Hugh would be play playing vain Latin lover Aldolpho alongside his Australian fellow actor Geoffrey Rush’s Man in Chair. The story concerns a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan - the Man in Chair: as he plays the record of his favourite musical, the fictional1928 hit THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, the show comes to life on stage as he wryly comments on the music, story, and actors. Hugh Jackman has also revealed that there is a possibility of THE WOLVERINE getting a sequel in the future.

WILL SMITH TO LIVE IN
'THE CITY THAT SAILED'!
Another big Hollywood star, Will Smith will unite with Shawn Levy (REAL STEEL, NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM) on THE CITY THAT SAILED movie. The intriguing fantasy story revolves around  the daughter of a New York City street magician who lives in England. She discovers a set of magical candles in a lighthouse, and her wish to be reunited with her father causes the island of Manhattan to break away and begin moving across the ocean!
SHEKHAR KAPUR TO HELM 'RASPUTIN' MINI SERIES
Meanwhile, Deadline reports that HOLLYWOOD SPY's fave director Shekhar Kapur (ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE, THE FOUR FEATHERS) will helm FX mini series RASPUTIN telling the story of the Russian peasant and mystic who became an adviser to the Russian Romanov Imperial family.

HEAVEN IS FOR REAL TRAILER
 GREG KINNEAR & KELLY REILLY
Our Saturday trailer is the first one for inspiring and heartwarming drama HEAVEN IS FOR REAL based on an incredible true story! Coming to cinemas next Easter and based on best selling novel, the film stars Greg Kinnear and Kelly Reilly as the real-life couple whose son Colton (Connor Corum) experiences Heaven during emergency surgery. Colton recounts the details of his amazing journey with childlike innocence. He describes Heaven in vivid detail, and speaks matter-of-factly about things that happened before his birth ... things he couldn't possibly know. Todd is called upon by his congregation to explain the meaning of Colton's revelations, and he and his family are challenged to examine their faith and draw meaning from this remarkable event.

  1. kinda ironic, in the non-musical 90's Les Miserables Geoffrey Rush played Javert

  3. I'm looking forward to seeing 'Heaven Is For Real.' I read the book and was enthralled. I've no doubt the movie will be the same. I'm convinced there's something after this life. Logically, it only makes sense. We live 80 or so years. That's nothing compared to the vast scope of time so, yeah, there must be more. Not necessarily harps, clouds, and halos, but...something. We'll all find out eventually, so that's a good thing. If it's to be oblivion, then we won't know the difference anyway. Oh, here I go getting all philosophical I should probably think of a fart joke.

    1. There is for sure, you've seen people who talk to the dead and heard many afterlife stories and the stories who came back from the dead. I myself have had many supernatural experiences... so there definitely is something. And I say that as an atheist. I think that all that has something to do with those 90% of human brain that we are not using.... there are powers and things hiding in there that are currently unfamiliar to us...

  4. I didn't know they were making a movie of "The Drowsy Chaperone" -- that's great! It was written by a couple of Canadians, you know. Everyone was very proud of its success on Broadway. And now this! I hope Hugh Jackman does do it. He needs a break from non-stop Wolverine movies.

  6. I think 'Heaven' will ride alongside 'Noah' as movies I have absolutely zero interest in ever seeing, but Rasputin certainly has some potential. F/X seems a strange home for it,but it could work.

  11. Dang, Dez, another killer trailer! I really liked "Heaven is for Real" and am looking forward to watching that this Easter. Losing my mom this year had me asking all sorts of questions...that one in particular. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
