And not just for the blackwashing but they literally distort what really happened and change the ending in MY LADE JANE new costume TV series, could be a parody as well, which will hit Prime Video this summer June 27th based on a book by Cynthia Hand. It is sort of a fantasy drama as in it Jane Gray is not beheaded and actually becomes the queen of England.

 IT IS BASICALLY: FUCK HISTORY!

 WHO IS AT THE ROYAL COURT?

At the centre of the series is the brilliant and headstrong Jane, played by Emily Bader, who is unexpectedly crowned queen overnight and finds herself the target of nefarious villains coming for the crown (and her head) in an epic tale of true love and high adventure, where the damsel in distress saves herself, her true love and then the Kingdom. Edward Bluemel stars as Guildford Dudley her future husband and Jordan Peters as King Edward. Dominic Cooper plays Lord Seymour, Anna Chancellor plays Jane’s mother, Lady Frances Grey, and Rob Brydon plays Lord Dudley, Guildford’s father. Jim Broadbent plays the Duke of Leicester, Jane’s uncle. Additional cast includes Henry Ashton as Guildford’s brother, Stan, and Isabella Brownson and Robyn Betteridge as Jane’s sisters. Kate O’Flynn and Abbie Hern portray the King’s sisters Princess Mary and Princess Bess. Máiréad Tyers, Joe Klocek and Michael Workeye also appear. Hope we get a trailer soon but it already looks like utter garbage just judging by the atrocious storyline.

A few months ago I informed you that science fiction classic novel NEUROMANCER from William Gibson will be turned into a ten episode sf series and now our dearest Callum Turner has been announced as the lead star. The story of the novel and the new series follows a damaged, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Callum Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital espionage and high stakes crime with his partner Molly, a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untold secrets. Graham Roland will be the show runner and executive producer of the new television series.

As Deadline reports today, Kornel Mundruczó and Kata Wéber, Hungarian married couple of film makers, have hired Amy Adams as the lead star of their new movie drama AT THE SEA. Set to start its production this June in Boston, the film follows the life of Laura (Amy Adams) after a long rehabilitation, as she returns to her family at their beach holiday home where she has to readjust to the complicated life she left behind. Now she is forced to face the following next chapter of her life without the career that gave her fame, fortune and, most importantly, identity.

Arriving to the small screens sometime soon this year is four episode mini TV series THE BOY THAT NEVER WAS based on the Sunday Times best-selling debut novel by the same name by Irish author Karen Perry.

After being sold in more than ten million copies around the world, Richard Osman's book series THURSDAY MURDER CLUB is being adapted into a movie to be directed by Chris Columbus and now rumour has it that Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley will lead the cast as three of the  four septuagenarian friends who live in a retirement community and solve cold cases for fun. When a shady property developer is found dead, the four find themselves in the middle of their first live crime. Variety reports that 14 studios fought for the movie rights on this one.

It will open Monte Carlo Television Festival this June, but Kevin Costner has released first image from his six episode historical series THE GRAY HOUSE that tells the hidden-history tale of four Southern women — a Virginia socialite and her mother, a formerly enslaved Black woman and a high-end prostitute — who served as key espionage agents for the Union. The foursome are credited as unsung heroes who helped end the nation’s brutal cleavage in 1865. Mary-Louise Parker, Amethyst Davis, Daisy Head and Ben Vereen lead the cast. Costner and Morgan Freeman are producing.
